I introduced Google Adsense on my blog-site & web-pages in 2005. It generated fifteen dollars in thirty days and attracted me in trying varied options to augment online revenue system. Adsense remained untouched after my introduction to associated marketing & express sponsorships. I thought of exploring the latent of Adsense, after observing a rising trend of CPC on my webpage. 1. Load units to high traffic web-pages
Web-pages which provide tips & have reader’s forum have more footfall. These web-pages & blog-sites are high on interaction module & cause almost three million views every quarter. I avoided Adsense on these web-pages due to express sponsorships. I utilized few units of Adsense on trial basis & was astonished to see seventy percent enhancement in revenue. There was no doubt in my mind anymore. I strongly recommend utilizing these components in spite of earning decently through other programs. Results are astounding.
2. Load components to smaller web-pages
I had cluster of relatively smaller web-pages around the web. Some of these web-pages are on free hosting platform where as there are other web-pages on paid hosting platforms. I had ignored these web-pages due to lower footfall. I decided to assign Adsense units assertively & saw an enhanced click through rate which balanced the lower footfall. 3. Bigger adverts, Better Money

Larger the advert, higher is the utility. I would recommend utilizing large rectangle to gain visibility.
4. Position of units
Placement plays a big role in grabbing the viewer’s attention. When Adverts were positioned between the blog-sites & the section for comments, they derived passable results. Positioning the advert beneath the subject for seven to eight days made CTR touch its peak. So the thumb rule was to place the Adverts above the fold in order to maximize your revenue

I referred word press for search options earlier, results were unsatisfactory & income was meager. I switched to Adsense and made almost sixty dollars a month which totaled to seven hundred plus dollar annually. Moreover the search results were better so I benefitted either ways
7. Adsense for feeds
This was one area that I hadn’t explored; I decide to flaunt adverts below my RSS feeds. This did wonders. One needs relatively larger RSS followers to see visible results.
8. Target related segments
This feature enables the user to recommend particular segments of the site for related adverts. This can be helpful for smaller websites or blog-sites that generate fewer footfalls. Related adverts will help in increasing the Click through rate
9. Try varied color schemes & varied fonts
This strategy needs to be validated till one arrives at a positive response. Just monitor the original CTR & the changes after applying diverse color scheme & fonts; one can try this till one finds true winning blend to thump the prior rate.
